Today’s secret society
Secret societies are defined as those small scale or large scale groups whose activities, members and rituals are kept from the mainstream societies. The existence of secret societies has a long history and there is not anything peculiar about it except for they are either good or bad to impact the political and social change of a society and they contribute in reshaping the usual doctrine of the society, Michael Benson writes, “such secret societies dates back to the medieval times when any belief or knowledge that disagreed with the dogma of the Church was punishable by death” (1). If I am allowed to comment, what Benson mentions as ?Church’ I would replace it with ?terrorist’, as no true religious body fans terrorism. They are the terrorists who first usurp doctrines, then holy places to jer intermittent fasting diet k people’s beliefs in order to dismantle nationhood from them.Across the globe in all eras there has been reasoning, reasoning to punishment, reasoning for a cause, which probably in most of the cases goes with the state in order to avoid lawlessness and fanning anarchy. They are for a cause, in most cases which to spread fear, and so they promote a cause, as no secret society that ever existed on earth is in vain. They all had and still have one thing in common, to spread as much fear in the public as possible!”Today, I don’t say I’m Muslim or I’m Christian, I say, I’m Egyptian,” (2) the saying of one of the hosts on Christmas Eve at Cairo’s Coptic Cathedral no doubt expresses grief and sombreness out of fear of the massive suicide attacks that today no nation or country has remained free from.
